Upload guide: what photo works best

Best photo in one line: a close front-facing photo with your face large in the frame, your eyes lifting up to the camera.

• Pose and framing: Take the photo close in and from slightly above, kneeling at the centre, the way this template frames its first-person view.
• Eyes: Look down at first, then lift your eyes up to the camera, with no sunglasses and no hair across your eyes.
• Mouth: Keep your mouth uncovered, with nothing in front of your lips.
• One person only: Upload only yourself, with no second person and no group photo in the frame.
• Outfit: Clothes follow the template scene, not your photo. Do not expect the outfit in your photo to carry over into the result.
• Light and sharpness: Use a recent, high-resolution photo with bright, even light on your face and sharp focus. Do not upload a screenshot with black bars or app buttons, a photo of a screen, or a heavily filtered photo that changes your face shape.
• Avoid: distant full-body shots, back views, mouths covered, dark or blurry photos.
